DockTour Facilitates Delivery of Vital Medicines

Humanitarian Support

Ensuring Access to Essential Treatment

DockTour provided a donation of 800,000 essential medicines through the Ministry of Health of Angola, supporting the availability of critical treatments across healthcare facilities.

The consignment included antibiotics, pain relief medicines, and treatments for chronic conditions, helping healthcare providers address a range of ongoing patient needs. These medicines support continuity of care by strengthening the availability of commonly required therapies across healthcare networks.

The handover reflects collaboration between healthcare and logistics stakeholders, supporting coordinated distribution of medicines to communities where consistent access to treatment remains essential for maintaining public health outcomes.

“We are grateful for this generous support. Angola and the UAE share a common vision of strengthening and enhancing healthcare systems, and today’s contribution reflects that spirit of partnership. By working together, we can continue advancing the health and wellbeing of our communities.”
– H.E. Dr. Silvia Lutucuta, Minister of Health of Angola

The medicines support treatment needs across multiple therapeutic areas including infections, cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, allergies, and gastrointestinal disorders. Reliable availability of these medicines helps healthcare providers respond more effectively to patient needs and maintain continuity of treatment programs.

Through structured logistics coordination, DockTour enabled the efficient delivery of essential medicines aligned with healthcare system requirements, supporting timely distribution and strengthening healthcare supply continuity.
